Patronage enquiry

A Patron of the orchestra is someone who donates a sum of money that goes towards covering the running costs of the orchestra.

Rotherham Symphony Orchestra runs on a non-profit basis, and as such we are trying to meet the significant running costs through ticket sales from concerts along with player subscriptions. This alone isn’t enough to hire music, pay our musical director’s fees and continue to offer high standards of concerts.

In order to help Rotherham Symphony Orchestra develop further and ensure its long-term sustainability, it is vital that we identify ways to secure its financial well-being.

As a result, we are excited to launch a patronage scheme that will offer members some unique benefits in return for a small financial commitment. If you feel able to support the orchestra with a more substantial donation, we also offer sponsorship packages.

For a minimum donation of just £20 per year, you can become a patron of the Rotherham Symphony Orchestra. Being a patron will entitle you to several benefits including:

•    A free ticket to one concert per year (the patrons’ concert)

•    A twice-yearly invitation to an RSO rehearsal for an intimate VIP performance, including refreshments.

•    Priority booking (including reserved seating) for all concert performances before tickets go on general sale.

•    Your name printed within each concert programme.

•    Your name on the patrons section of our website to acknowledge your support.

If you would like to support the Rotherham Symphony Orchestra and become a patron, please send an email to rotherhamsymphonyorchestra@gmail.com  containing your full name / Business Name and contact details with the subject – “become a patron” and we will send you a short application form that will need to be completed & returned for processing.
